Charitable Work

Action Tutoring

Since 2011, Greater London Tutors has collaborated with Action Tutoring, providing volunteer tutors for GCSE tuition in inner-city London schools. Action Tutoring, founded in 2010 aims to support English and Maths GCSE students on C/D grade boundary. Aware that not all families could provide one-to-one private tuition, Action Tutoring now works in partnership with over thirty inner city schools across London to help students succeed and achieve results beyond the C grade and achieve 5 A* – C grades in their GCSEs.

Greater London Tutors have helped to support the charity in its bid to locate and encourage our tutors to work with them and the schools. We ourselves have established communication links between our own tutors and the schools to help children achieve their full potential. The feedback has been very positive and the success of the project is evident.

The Access Project

Greater London Tutors is currently working with The Access Project, providing volunteer tutors to help students improve their GCSE and A-Level grades.
The Access project was established in 2008 to help students win places at top UK Universities. Working with nine partner schools in London, they offer one to one tuition, afterschool workshops and seminars, and UCAS application assistance to students disadvantaged backgrounds who may have thought a place at Oxbridge or a Russell Group University was attainable.

Greater London Tutors is delighted to support these fantastic causes, and if you would like to show your support and get involved, please email
