Become a Tutor
At Greater London Tutors we want to build close, professional relationships with our tutors. We look to recruit engaging and committed individuals who are passionate about the subjects they teach, but also share our satisfaction and pleasure in helping children (and adults!) to learn and succeed. We have no minimum or maximum age requirements, but we do look for people who will be able to relate to their pupils and build a rapport in a way that extends beyond a teacher-pupil relationship.
While teaching skills and qualifications are helpful, and respected by our agency, there is a difference between one-on-one tuition and classroom teaching. Similarly, there is a difference in approach, and often personality, between those who excel in a class room, and those who can get the most out of pupils in a one-on-one environment.
Tutors working with us can expect to gain more clients the better the reviews they have from clients, and we will help them to develop professionally throughout their time with us.
