The History of the Greater London Tutorial Agency

In one form or another the Greater London Tutorial Agency has been around for more than 30 years. We have had the satisfaction of providing private tutors for families throughout the last three decades, and it is a testament to the quality of our service that not only do we provide tutors for pupils throughout their school careers, but we have old pupils using Below is a brief history from our roots in 1973 to the present.

1973 - 1978
The North London Tutorial Agency is established by two teachers in North London.

1978 - July 2005
The North London Tutorial Agency becomes the Greater London Tutorial Agency as its reputation grows and demand emerges from all reaches of the Greater London area.

2005 - Present
The management of the Greater London Tutorial Agency is taken over by Will Stadlen and Jake Hall and enters a new era. New recruitment policies are put in place making the Greater London Tutorial Agency probably the most difficult Agency to become a tutor for within the London area. The agency moves towards the 21st century with up-to-date computer systems being installed to provide exceptional customer service over the long term. Our new ethos of approaching each student as an individual in order to nurture confidence and, hopefully, to inspire the student with a love of the subject makes a reality of the simple goal of making high quality private tuition readily available to students of all ages, abilities and backgrounds in London and the South East.
